Valentine's Rocks!

We Nortons are celebrating Valentine's Day all weekend!!! We're having a blast!

Claire was the first to receive her Valentine. She got a "big girl" car seat!!!
Then we all headed out to the Houston Home and Garden Market. It was a lot of fun, but mostly we enjoyed an outing together. Last night we attended Married Life Live at church. It was also a lot of fun.

Here's a picture of Claire's first "coloring" - her Valentine for her daddy.
Steve gave me two hints about my Valentine - (1) it "can do" smoke a cigar and (2) it "can do" pet a cat. HUH?! Then he called me into our master bath this morning and showed me the walls.
Steve painted our bathroom!!! I've been talking about this for months and months. Everyone thinks I've totally lost it for wanting to paint any room black. In fact, when Steve told his Grandma about it, her exact words were "Oh barf!" Thanks for the vote of confidence, Granny! Too funny!
Here are some before and after pics:
I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! It brings out the rockstar in me! Thanks, Babe!
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Rudy Rudy Rudy tsk tsk

So I'm a little -- okay a lot behind on my news facts here; but in case you are like me and didn't hear about Rudy Giuliani's interview on GMA last month let me fill you in.

He said "There were no domestic terrorist attacks under the Bush Administration, and there has been one under the Obama Administration."

First of all shame on you George Stephanopolis for not catching this little slide of toungue!

Perhaps he forgot about a certain day in September of 2001 or by definition

The Shoe Bomber -- the reason you poor saps must remove your shoes at the TSA checkpoint (fortunately us pilots are exempt)

Anthrax letters

DC Sniper

LAX El Al ticket counter shooting -- they have never been hijacked - ever, its the only international airline to hold such a status, the best this guy could do was kill some ticket agents.

And of course the little known UNC SUV case where some idiot drove around the campus mowing down pedestrians left and right.

Time to pick up my girls and turn no the Superbowl!

Now for some scriptures of the day

Psalm 30:4 (Whole Chapter) All you saints! Sing your hearts out to God! Thank him to his face! He gets angry once in a while, but across a lifetime there is only love. The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter.

Psalm 31:23 (Whole Chapter) Love God, all you saints; God takes care of all who stay close to him, But he pays back in full those arrogant enough to go it alone.

Revelation 18:20 (Whole Chapter) "O Heaven, celebrate! And join in, saints, apostles, and prophets! God has judged her; every wrong you suffered from her has been judged."

Psalm 50:4 (Whole Chapter) He summons heaven and earth as a jury, he's taking his people to court: "Round up my saints who swore on the Bible their loyalty to me."

Revelation 14:12 (Whole Chapter) Meanwhile, the saints stand passionately patient, keeping God's commands, staying faithful to Jesus.

Let us pray!
