Christmas Cookies and Sledding

Last Saturday we invited our next door neighbors, The Millers, over for a Christmas-cookie-making party!  Between our two families, we have ages 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.  We had so much fun!  (Our neighbors took a lot more pictures of the kids making cookies, but I don’t have copies of those pictures.  If I get them, I’ll post them later.  For now, here’s what I have.)

The kids loved eating the cookie dough, and Cale loved eating the green sugar.IMG_0751

After making cookies, we packed some up and delivered them to our neighbors.IMG_0813

Then Steve and Jeffrey took Claire, Cale, Hope and Elijah sledding.  It was the first time my kids have done that.  They LOVED it!

On Sunday, my kids finished cutting out the last of the cookies, baked them and frosted them.IMG_0758

Cale ate them as soon as he decorated them.  And sometimes he skipped decorating all-together.IMG_0767

It was a great weekend!  We had so much fun, and we have some yummy cookies to leave for Santa.
