This past weekend, we took Cale to the Northwest to meet Steve’s side of the family. He was a GREAT traveler.
We flew out Friday night and arrived in Portland early Saturday morning and put the kids to bed right away, around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning, after daylight, we had breakfast with Uncle Clay and Aunt Lori. Aunt Lori fed Claire ice cream for breakfast.
After breakfast, we traveled over the mountains and through the snow.
Once we we went over the mountain, we went “over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house!”
We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa.

Claire got to play in the snow on our way back over the mountain.
Sunday night we went to Chevys for Mexican. It was delish! When we got back to Aunt Lori’s, she gave Claire a pedicure.
My babies got a chance to play with Uncle Clay before he went to work Monday morning.
Aunt Lori took us to Inflatable Kingdom on Monday. We all had a blast!
After three hours at Inflatable Kingdom, we went to Five Guys for lunch and then to The Disney Store. Claire LOVES shopping – especially at The Disney Store. She ran around and gathered these things. We just couldn’t resist taking her picture!
Aunt Lori is SO much fun, and my kids simply adore her!
When we left Aunt Lori’s Monday evening, we went to Gramps’ house. He made us some delicious burgers, and we had a great time! Claire loved playing with Gramps’ dog, Minnie. We made some great memories!
Monday night we spent the night with Grandpa and Grandma Osterholm. We had a great time! Claire, of course, had a great time with their dog, Beau.
Tuesday, we went to see Grandpa and Grandma Gerdlund. And Claire, as usual, loved playing with their dog, Chocolate.
We went back to Aunt Lori’s house for dinner and naps Tuesday afternoon. After dinner, Aunt Lori taught Claire how to play Words With Friends on her iPad.
We took the red-eye flight home at 11:45 p.m. We arrived home Wednesday morning around 5:45 a.m.
We had such a wonderful time and made some great memories! We’re planning to head back at the end of July or beginning of August.
