Snow Day!

Snow days are a marvelous but rare treat for us.  And this snow, unlike most Oklahoma snows, was perfect!  Claire was in Heaven!

She built a snowman with PopPop.

Then she wanted to add eyes to it.  (Can you see the size of the eyes she made for this little snowman?  This girl is hilarious!)

Then she had a snowball fight with PopPop.  Such fun!

Next on her list of things to do – snow angels!

Then she decided to direct her snowballs at me.  I LOVED it!  Nothing better than a snowball fight with my little snow bunny!

Then Cale joined in the fun.  It was his first time to play in the snow.

He didn’t like it very much.

Then Claire decided to have a snowball fight with Cale.  He didn’t like that at all.

Cale got cold, so I took him inside to warm him up and rock him.  Meanwhile, Claire made a huge snowball…

and threw it at me!  Such a silly girl!

While I was rocking Cale, Claire threw snowballs at the window.

Cale thought it was so funny!

When I put Claire to bed tonight, she thanked God for the snow day.  What a perfect day!
