We celebrated Steve’s 33rd birthday last Saturday! We had so much fun!
On Saturday, Steve wanted to go to the Tulsa State Fair.
The funniest line of the day came from Claire while we were walking down the midway: “So WHY are we not riding the Ferris wheel?” Needless to say, her daddy laughed then headed straight for the line to ride the Ferris wheel.
It was Claire’s first Ferris wheel ride, and she LOVED it! After that, Claire and Steve rode a roller coaster.
Claire had her first solo ride at the fair and followed it up with a few more solo rides. The first was on a bumble bee (similar to the Dumbo ride at Disney).
Next she rode the balloons.

While at the fair we ate fresh-cut curly fries with chili and cheese, fried pickles and a funnel cake. Yummy!
On Sunday we celebrated Steve’s birthday at our house with gourmet cheeseburgers, french fries, fried okra, fried zucchini, baked beans and corn on the cob. Delish!
